The Dancin’ Dogg Golf Simulator incorporates swing analysis and video instruction with EA Sports Tiger Woods 2008. 16 optical sensors measure the club through impact and provide detailed feedback on your swing, face angle, club head speed, distance carried, flight path, and more. Best used indoors with a laptop. You may also want to get an extra long USB cord or wireless USB device. I have a feeling a few laptops will be scrapped after playing this game.

The RadarGolf System uses Ball Positioning System™ (BPS™) technology to locate lost golf balls. A chip is embedded into the 12 golf balls that come with the unit. The chips will transmit a radio signal back to the handheld allowing you to find your lost balls. Evidently the balls that come with the system have been thoroughly tested for durability and performance parameters. Extra balls cost $40.00 for a 12 pack. I’d say not a bad deal especially if you stink.

What’s funnier than plaid pants on a golf course? How about a remote control golf ball. Works best on smooth surfaces such as greens and tees. I wish it was disguised better to look more like a real golf ball though. I also think it would pretty much lose its luster after a few uses. It’s under $20, so it may be worth a shot. Comment if you’ve used it.

The IGolf neo pocket-size golf GPS system is a helpful golf course companion that will automatically display the distance to the front, center, and back of the green, while also letting users add up to four custom points per hole. If you’ve never played with a golf gps system, you don’t know what you are missing. A must have for any golfer that needs precise distances. Especially great for courses that you’ve never played.

Unique putting trainer that uses a laser to point a line to the target. Probably great on flat greens and at mini-golf courses but what happens when there are up and down slopes? For $69.00 though, it’s definitely worth a try. Now they need to come up with a terrain analyzer. That would be the ultimate.
