| This camera is giving me all I wanted from it, it's easy to use, great quality, and for beginners like me it helps a lot to get familiar with the photography stiles and everything. It's a good thing to have. |

| Ever since seeing years ago a nearly $1000 Sony made camera similar in design to this one I have wanted a camera like this. I used to do freelance photography at college and have been a fan of Nikon cameras since the original FM. This Nikon camera has a tremendous zoom range and sells for around $200. Hard to believe it's been superseded already by another similar model, but such is life in the digital camera world these days. |

| I wanted to buy a Nikon because my previous Coolpix was so good, but I have been very disappointed with the photos I have taken with this camera. Mostly, it is poor lighting...either the images are too hot if I use the flash, or too red if I use one of the low-light settings or the automatic settings. I have few good pictures to show for this camera. Also, it goes into power-save mode way too quickly and then by the time it wakes up, you've missed your shot. More than once I have hit the power button instead of the shutter. It's always something. I'm planning to be much more careful about my next camera, which I plan to purchase soon, because this one just is not the right one for me. |
